Financial Aid and Fundraising

A D.I.P.G. brain cancer diagnosis is not only devastating, it is life-altering. It requires you to act quickly in terms of a treatment plan and often includes unexpected and uncovered medical costs. Travel, accommodations, medication and alternative treatments add up quickly so Monkey Crew Against D.I.P.G. has put together a list of organizations that offer financial assistance to families of children battling cancer to give you a head-start in pursuing financial help. We have included crowdfunding platforms and fundraising ideas to help get you started as quickly as possible with your fundraising efforts. We recommend appointing a trusted, social media-savvy person who knows your family well and is committed to your cause to help with your fundraising and social media campaigns. This will be the last thing on your mind after a D.I.P.G. diagnosis but crowdfunding and social media outlets are the fastest way to help raise the funds you will need to get to clinical trials and treatment. Monkey Crew Against DIPG hopes these links and ideas help to ease some of the financial stress of a D.I.P.G. diagnosis.
